OF ANTYS USEFULNESS

1. Can ANTYS improve the resistance of crops in foliar and hydric stressful situations…?

Stressful situations can affect foliage or fruit quality depending on season. Hydric stresses frequently occur earlier and earlier, from May to June. The ANTYS program provides corrective action to such nutritional dysfunctions by promoting storage build-up in plants (wood ...).

2. How beneficial is it to apply ANTYS on fruit trees ?

ANTYS applications are recommended to improve fruit size and enhance fruit resistance. As for the latter, applications of ANTYS Ca allow to better preserve fruit (e.g.: on cherry trees, an 8 day preservation gain when out of cold room).

3. Is ANTYS compatible with most products for foliar treatment ?

Yes it is, except for the highly nitrogenous products like the ones of ANTYS 15 type with foshethyls and mixes of ANTYS Ca with sulphates. Whatever treatment you opt for, a cautionary principle should impose a preliminary test in a container in order to validate the physical stability of the mixed products.

4. Can ANTYS make up for crops nutritional deficiencies ?

Yes, foliar applications have the advantage of being in direct contact with foliage thus rapidly available depending on climatic or crop conditions. Comparative tests show high effectiveness in corrective and preventive treatments against nutritional deficiencies.

5. What benefit is there with using ANTYS for correcting deficiencies compared to other entirely mineral products ?

The antioxidant, nutritional synergistic effect of ANTYS increases the effectiveness of the treatment considerably: ANTYS restores the physiological activity of plants and promotes better efficiency of its combined mineral elements.

6. Is it advisable to treat deficiencies correctively or preventively ?

As a rule, preventive treatments are more efficient than corrective ones because according to the symptoms observed, the plant is more or less receptive to treatments. Besides, treatments applied too late can sometimes harm plants more by causing burns if foliage is not in situation of absorption capacity. The synergistic action of ANTYS treatment allow to intervene rapidly to correct these nutritional deficiencies.

7. Can the protein rates on cereals be improved by using the products from the ANTYS range ?

It can be improved on wheat for instance where richness in proteins is variable according to varietals, but also according to the availability of nutrients like nitrogen that can be submitted to weather variations. Foliar spray with ANTYS 15, at the stage of last leaf unfolded (5L/ha amount) allows thanks to synergistic action, to correct Proteogenesis dysfunctions, especially in situation of rainfall deficit.

8. What alternative treatments can be implemented to meet the demand for «clean» agricultural productions respectful for the environment ?

To take up these stakes efficiently one should intervene at earlier stages: at soil level in order to restore the physico-chemical and biological balances promoting plant nutrition and resistance, one should optimize the soil/plant interface or root system and eventually prevent aerial stresses by implementing the ANTYS program.

9. Can the ANTYS programme be listed in sustainable fertilization practices to improve fertilizers effectiveness ?

Yes, fertilization logical thinking can't fail to provide the optimization of nutrients effectiveness for the plant. Manuring management programs based on supply of organic fertilizers (Orga 3, Guanorich, Végéthumus …) more rational because of their gradual release in nutrients within soil and their biological properties – complemented with the ANTYS program – make up a solution for a better management of fertilizers and direction toward environmental preservation.

10. What program can be implemented for vines, market gardening and fruit trees ?

The program must be adjusted according to crops and their particular problems. On vine for instance, an ANTYS NPK (8, 10, 15) and ANTYS K to restart crops in spring and improve crop quality shall be recommended. On fruit trees, an ANTYS NPK (8, 10, 15) and ANTYS Ca allows to improve crop yield and quality. On legume crops spray applications with ANTYS NPK to restart plant growth and ANTYS Ca sprinkling on lettuce or drip feeding on summer legumes, strawberry, melon so as to improve crop keeping time and homogeneity. In situations of deficiencies in Fe, Mg, or K one should use ANTYS Fe, MgS or K earlier in season in order to treat as soon as symptoms appear (see data sheet/product file). Finally one shall recommend ANTYS PMg for all crops presenting blossom deficiencies.

RECOMMENDED USES

11. When should ANTYS NPK be used ?

Antys NPK should be applied at the stage of crop growth as soon as leaf burst or unfolding and to support flowering until fruit set or swelling.

12. When should ANTYS K be used ?

Antys K is generally applied as soon as early maturing, from late fruit set to veraison/ripening - or early ripening. In situation of potassic deficiency, Antys K can be applied earlier.

13. When should ANTYS Fe be used ?

In situation of ferric chlorosis, Antys Fe should be applied preventively or correctively in case of deficiency, as soon as leaves develop and avoiding applications during full flowering.

14. When should ANTYS Ca be used ?

Antys Ca should be applied preferably after flowering at early ripening as calcium is hardly absorbable by fruit if applied too late.

15. When should ANTYS PMg be used ?

Antys PMg should be applied to support flowering. In case of flower drop problem, plan two applications before flowering.

16. What's special with the Iron contained ANTYS Fe ?

Antys Fe contains iron under chelated form EDTA, ANTYS increases its assimilation by leaves.

17. What is the synergistic quality of the ANTYS NPK formula at photosynthesis restart ?

All the ANTYS NPK formulations contain the ANTYS molecule which restarts plant cell activity, the synergistic effect with a NPK+Mg+trace ensures a restart of photosynthesis : quick visual effect, greener leaves.

18. Is ANTYS NPK magnesium phosphate water soluble ?

Antys PMg is elaborated from entirely water soluble magnesium enriched with nitrogen and boron. Such antioxidant synergy promotes better resistance at the very early stages of flowering and fruit set.

19. Is ANTYS Ca calcium phosphate water soluble ?

Antys Ca associates calcium phosphate that is soluble with Antys. Such synergy enhances calcium absorption and improves crop preservation.

20. Is ANTYS K potassium water soluble ?

Antys K is formulated under chloride form, a highly soluble salt by foliar medium, without burning risk.

APPLICATIONS

21. What is the generally recommended application rate for ANTYS Fe ?

ANTYS Fe should be applied at the rate of 3L/ha which is the optimal rate of efficiency, don't overdose with iron chelates.

22. What is the generally recommended application rate for ANTYS PMg ?

Antys PMg should be applied at the rate of 3t o 5L/ha with 2 to 3 applications.

Enhances resistance of lawns in stressful situations (hydric, agronomic, mechanical operation, mowing…). Helps lawn coming out after sowing in difficult situation.

33. Is ANTYS + Iron effective on lawns in stressful situations?

Yes, whatever their origins, agronomic (soil deficiencies, iron deficiency...) or even physiological (cell alteration and oxidation) entail lawn block-up (chlorophyll deficiency, stop of photosynthesis) and cell tissue alteration by cell oxidation, all the more intense, in highly constraining situations (frequent mowing, mecanichal operations…). ANTYS + Iron works synergistically with iron to restore physiological mechanisms, improve the stress resistance of lawns and re-balance nutritional needs in iron : sets off regreening effect.

34. Is ANTYS + Iron a very SELECTIVE product ?

Yes, ANTYS + Iron brings well-targeted action without burning the planted vegetation unlike some other products such as calcium cyanamides …that can cause burns on plants.

35. Does ANTYS + Iron leave stains ?

The product can cause brown stains when spilled over porous surfaces such as tiles, stone walls which should rapidly be washed with water. With regard to tracks left by players (over golf courses, sportsgrounds) treated with ANTYS+ Iron, there no problem of treading or tyre prints.

36. Is ANTYS + Iron compatible with foliar treatments ?

As a rule, ANTYS+ Iron is compatible with the treaments except for basic products containing lime or calcium. However, cautionary principles impose testing solutions beforehand especially for complex ones, in a container so as to control its physical stability.

37. At what temperature should ANTYS + Iron be applied ?

Applications should be made in situation of physiological activity, so one should avoid treating in very low temperatures.

38. How often should treatments be applied ?

Applications will differ according to problems, generally les nutritional corrections for a regreening effect require 1 to 2 applications according to the lawn condition (product details) every treatment. To prevent stress, a 2L/1000m² monthly application allows to provide against these dysfunctions.
